Most of us don't think about our big ideas in a straight line. Most of us, when we lay out all the pieces of our big idea in front of us, end up with a tangled mess of arguments, supporting ideas, and a few miscellaneous pieces that might fit, might not.

Deliverables include:

• A series of online sessions with 1-2 writing experts to develop and organize your ideas (5-10+ sessions)

• A detailed analysis of your big idea and/or main argument (1-2 pages)

• A chapter-by-chapter outline that organizes main ideas, overarching stories, and supporting details (3-5 pages)

• Copies of recorded sessions to use as you move through your writing project (5-10+ sessions)

Interviews

Want to talk through your ideas in person? With this package, we'll deliver everything you need to start your writing journey, but instead of doing so over a series of online sessions, we'll pack our bags and come to you!

Over three days, we'll conduct interviews to discover your big idea together. We'll listen to your stories and find the place they fit best in your outline. We'll lay out next steps for your project, whether that's a proposal, a manuscript, or whatever else is needed to support your idea moving forward. 

Deliverables include:

• Three 4-6 hour sessions with 1-2 writing experts to develop and organize your ideas

• A detailed analysis of your big idea and/or main argument (1-2 pages)

• A chapter-by-chapter outline that organizes main ideas, overarching stories, and supporting details (3-5 pages)

• Copies of recorded sessions to use as you move through your writing project

Proposals

Do you want to sell your book to a traditional or hybrid publisher? If so, a proposal is the tool you'll need to pitch your book to publishers and agents. We have experience in the complicated world of publishing, and we're here to help you find the right publishing path for your book. We'll spend time developing your concept, learning about your platform, and crafting all the components of a strong book proposal.

Deliverables include:

• A series of online sessions with 1-2 writing experts to develop and organize your ideas (5-10+ sessions)

• Executive Summary & Overview (1-2 pages)

• Detailed book outline (1-2 pages)

• Sample chapter (2,000-5,000 words)

• Comparative Analysis (1-2 pages)

• Marketing Platform & Strategy (2-3 pages)

• Author Biography (1 page)

Ghostwriting

Once we've completed interviews, we'll get to work on crafting your manuscript. We'll get to know you, your ideas, and your voice so we can deliver the best version of your manuscript to you, one chapter at a time. Once you receive a chapter, you'll provide us with your thoughts, making the process truly collaborative. Together, we'll bring your book to life and share it with the world.

The Ghostwriting Package must be preceded by either the Concept Planning or Interviews package.

Deliverables include: 

• A detailed outline that builds on the original by adding in resources and citations, story details, and memorable lines from interviews and/or author notes

• A completed first draft of the manuscript, delivered chapter by chapter (8-12 chapters)

• A revised second draft of the manuscript, incorporating author feedback and developmental editing conducted by the writing team (8-12 chapters)

• An online-only ebook copy of the finalized manuscript for personal use before official publication

Editing

The deliverables for an editing package will depend on the individual needs of each author. An author who needs a copy edit may only require a copy returned with errors marked or resolved. An author who needs a full developmental edit may want a fully marked-up version complete with lessons about why changes are suggested.
